| Well, we did it. We made it back from Salem with our Meggie. I
think she looks older, some don't see it, maybe it is spiritually
older. It was great to see her with her "new-found" friends and listen
to the stories of God's amazing Love. He is amazing. We are grateful the path He has set us on. Thank you, Father!
YWAM is starting a Crossroads DTS ( for those (ahem) over 30, and their families, if applicable) at
the base and families were coming to start their 5 months of
discipleship training. It was sweet to see all the kids there beginning
a new adventure in the Lord. What an opportunity they will have
together.
Amazing people we met (my yoda language!). Just a sweet spirit on
that base. We were able to connect with some of the leaders and talk
about the Plumbline class we have taught and experienced. It is so nice when you are able to
connect with like minded people and share about God's healings. We were encouraged by their testimonies.
Portland and Salem people are pretty friendly. Lots of coffee
shops, little ones, like the photo huts we have here, only there they
serve coffee. Not one coney island restaurant. Charlie noticed that. He
would like to go out there and start a franchise. They didn't even know
what coney islands are. It was mostly rainy, the sun did come out on
Sunday.
Church service was impacting. We went to a local church in Salem.
We even had a break and I was able to get a chai tea from the cafe and
drink it in the sanctuary during service. For you that know me, that is
a big step for me!!! Freedom!!! LOL LOL LOL
The pastors team taught on "The Art of Attraction", a five week study
from the Song of Solomon. I will get the tape series and loan them out
to anyone interested. Good stuff. The pastor(s) nailed some issues head
on and spoke the truth with love. It was very refreshing to hear the
topic taught so clearly and with such conviction.
So, we are settling in and enjoying being a family again. Was
good to see the twins back together, confusing at times, but fun. Smile.
Rom. 8:35-39....nothing can separate you from the love of God!

P.S. how do you like this pic of El Salvador, isn't it beautiful???? MMMMMM | | |
| Well, the time has come. Our missionary has now come back to
the States and set her feet back on home ground. Ahhhh. What a
relief it is.
Lots of mixed emotions. So very excited to see her, we have missed her
laughter and personality. We can't wait to catch up w/all of her
stories and to hear the testimonies of God's grace. She has been
changed, by the power of experiencing God the Father. Will she be happy
doing the mundane things of life? It will be a tough couple of weeks as
she eases into life as it was/is. She will need your prayers as she sort things out.
Through her stories, we will become uncomfortable in
realizing that there is a world out there that is dying unless they
experience a personal relationship by knowing Jesus as their
Savior. We really do get in a pattern and forget about the destiny God
has for us and the responsibilty of telling others about our Lord. Her experiences
will cause us all to reflect on our lives and see if we are doing all
that the Lord would have us to do. Do we die daily? Do we really have
compassion on those who are lost? I know sometimes, we are just too
busy to look or care. Lord, forgive me, forgive us.
Ok, so the good news is that Jesus forgives and we can start a fresh new walk every day. Thank you, Lord! Smile.
So, we will go out to Oregon and see the team and hear all the
great things that God has done and then we will bring Meg back. Oh
happy day. It will be a fun summer having us altogether. Plus, I shall
be a grandma, once again. Bill and Jenny are due July 1st. Wo Hoo. Love
those grandkids!!!!!
Be ready to be used by God today! Thanks for stopping by...and for all of your prayers. Lord, we are amazed by you!!!

| Welp, Meggie leaves for her new "home" Monday. I have mixed emotions
about it, first as her mother. It is always hard to let your children
go and venture off into unknown territory.(maybe this will help those
struggling with parents who have a hard time letting go, it is not an
easy thing being a parent-rewarding, yes, easy, no!) I mean, I trust
Father God and His plans for her, but there is a lump in my heart
knowing she will be so very far away. Second, I am very excited about
the plans He has for her and her team. They have been in prayer and
sought God in so many matters regarding this trip that I know great
things will happen everyplace they go. I mean, our heart is for
missions, so we know what a fantastic opportunity this is.
So, please, if you feel led, could you pray for this team?
Traveling safety, safety while there and that people would receive the
Truth. There is so much darkness where she will be. Pray that Father
God would be real to this team of young people and He would guide all of their
steps.
Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and pray what is on His heart.
Your rewards will be great as you hear the stories brought back and
know that your prayers were a part of the victories won.
Will update on here as we hear from the home base. Thank you, all!
A big shout out to the TBQ team,
Jael, Kevin, Robert and Daniel who are going on to district! Congrats
and job well done. Too bad Kellie didn't have to dye her hair. Maybe
next time. Would love to see that. Just don't make her shave it.
PLEASE!!!!!!!

| Sooo, went to Toronto this weekend and saw the Blue Men Group.
Great show. We laughed so hard our faces hurt. It was all so random and
can't really be explained, ya hafta go and see it. Crazy. I kept
watchin and thinkin of how we could use their stuff for the glory of
God. Actually, I think we have. Smile.
I have only been to Toronto(Airport) to go to church and have never been
for sight seeing. It's a hopping place. It felt a little
dark-spiritually-at times. It was very cold and we had to walk every
where we went. I did manage to get my first taxi ride. I know,
sheltered life! The people were very friendly, the food was great and
the company...well let's just say you know who you are... and it was
amazing!
We held our own church service Sunday morning and God really
ministered to each one of us. I am so thankful He is everywhere and not
just in the box we try to keep Him in.
All in all it was a great get-a-way. Food, fun, fellowship. I am blessed.
Also got to talk to my Meggie, that will always brighten my day.
God is growing her, that's for sure. She can come home anytime now. Her
room is still clean and I am tired of it. LOL LOL LOL Seriously,
we don't want her back until she has done what God wants her to do. She
is better in God's hands-wherever-then at home, safe, in our hands.
What a loving caring Father we have. My heart is full.
Have a God inspired day week or month. Look for ways in
which to minister His love and truth. He wants to use YOU!!!!!

| Well, I have survived in the
xanga world a week now and I have been blessed to receive some great
comments. Sank you all. Smile.
Kellster and I are going to the movies this weekend...not sure what to see. Any suggestions?
We saw "A New World" a few weeks ago, and we do not want to repeat that
mistake again. Whew, looong movie to sit through. ZZZZZZZZ Half
of the audience walked out. Char-man left, played some video games and
came back with a warning that the movie still had 1 1/2 hours left! I
laughed aloud, couldn't believe it. He left again and we didn't see him
until the end. LOL LOL LOL We waited to see if the movie would
get better, and I am sorry to say that it did not. Kellster clapped at
the end! Let's just say we were glad we had passes to see it and didn't
have to pay for that adventure. So we will be a bit more cautious this time, especially since we are paying! Thank you Lord, that you have brought me through this week and that
your mercies are new every morning. Sigh, what a great God we serve!!! His love is unmeasurable.
And a big shout out to Meggie for whom this journal is dedicated to!!!!!
